From Flamenco to Strat: Guitars in My Production

Guitar has been part of my life for over a decade. It was one of the first instruments I learned, alongside piano, and over time it’s become my favorite instrument to create with. What started 11 years ago has grown into a core piece of how I produce today. Every guitar I own brings out a different side of my sound, and together they’ve shaped the loops and samples I’m known for.

Recently, I picked up a flamenco nylon guitar, and it sparked a whole new wave of inspiration — pushing me into flamenco-reggaeton–inspired loops where I could really experiment with rhythm, bounce, and melody. Mastering that style has become something I’ve been locked in on, blending tradition with my own modern twist.

I also keep a Stratocaster American Vintage II 1962 Rosewood in rotation, which gives me those classic electric tones that cut through with energy, and an Epiphone acoustic, perfect for warm, stripped-down ideas.

But it doesn’t stop with strings. I’ve also been creating my own vocal chops, mixing them in all kinds of creative ways. Layered with my guitar loops, they add another texture and emotion you can hear throughout my samples and kits.

For me, guitar isn’t just an instrument — it’s the foundation of my sound. Whether it’s nylon strings, electric riffs, or acoustic chords, everything gets bent, chopped, and reimagined until it becomes something new.
